Aside from our range of products we are also able to offer a host of electrical and electronic design services. These may include bespoke variations of an existing product, complete vehicle electrical installation and software packages, or custom electronic devices to meet any 12VDC or 24VDC application.
The V-AVAS is designed in collaboration with Transport for London an approved by Alexander Dennis Limited to comply with UNECE Regulation No. 138 for Quiet Road Transport Vehicles regarding their reduced audibility. The V-AVAS emulated a traditional combustion engine to provide audible awareness for road users, especially visually impaired road users.
The Forman V-ILS is designed to aid hearing impaired passengers to travel easily on buses and coaches. Two separate induction loop systems allow the passengers to communicate clearly with the driver and to receive announcements directly into their hearing device. The system conforms to the BS 7594 code of practice for AFILS and the Public Service Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) which requires that all public service vehicles have adequate provisions for the hearing impaired.
The VLCU uses advanced optical sensor technology to determine the ambient light level and control a number of circuits accordingly. Mounted behind the vehicles windscreen, the sensor accurately measures the light levels being seen by the driver and can be used to either directly control the activation of headlights and interior lights, or to prompt a driver action.
The VLMS-6 connects in-line with vehicle lighting circuits to passively monitor up to 6 separate low power LED light circuits. When the load of a circuit falls below a configurable threshold, due to a partial failure or an open-circuit, individual outputs provide failure feedback.
The VLMS-10 connects in-line with vehicle lighting circuits to passively monitor up to 10 separate circuits, with a maximum load of 10W each. When the load of a circuit falls below the failure detection threshold, due to a partial failure or an open-circuit, individual outputs provide failure feedback.

The Vehicle Engine shutdown Unit monitors the vehicle running state by connecting the unit inputs to vehicle signals e.g. Handbrake, vehicle speed, gearbox in neutral, throttle pedal position etc.
The Vehicle Start Inhibit system monitors the vehicle battery state on power up. If the vehicle battery voltage is less than the preset inhibit threshold (default 22v) the unit will switch open a pair of contacts which can be connected in series with the engine run switch.

The VLMS-6E works with both 12 & 24v vehicle systems.
The vehicle intercom system provides a clear two way communication between the driver in the cab location and a passenger at the entrance platform location.
VLAU2 is an audio-frequency induction loop system (AFILS) product. It can drive two separate induction loops and is designed for use with our loop coil pads, which provide localised hearing loop areas. This system is targeted at bus vehicle installations.
Wired or Wireless audio visual sensor system with green, amber, red visual warning from 3m and progressive, audible tone. Specifically designed for commercial vehicles to assist the driver when reversing to cover the huge rear blind spot area.
The TPMS checks tyre pressures every twelve seconds, while the vehicle is in motion, and gives a clear alert for any problem. The system helps you ensure that tyres are always correctly inflated.
