Recent shifts in the transport industry towards green energy have led to an increase in electric, hybrid electric and hydrogen vehicles on the road. Public transport has seen a rise in the number of clean energy buses on the roads, and questions regarding the safety of the vehicles have been raised.
The safety of passengers and drivers of buses and coaches shouldn’t be a question; at Forman Vehicle Services we make sure it isn’t. With our UNECE Regulation No. 107 approved fire suppression systems and electrical safety and security solutions, we don’t leave safe driving to chance.
WHAT WE DO
We work with leading transport authorities, manufacturers and operators.
Our goal is to proactively improve road safety. Through our partnerships, we develop new and existing products to maintain high standards of quality and safety for buses, coaches and minibuses.
For operators, the safety of passengers and drivers is key. Our electronic and fire suppression systems give peace of mind, with minimal operational disruptions for services or callouts.
We work closely with manufacturers to ensure our systems are installed efficiently on the factory line, guaranteeing quality and reliability, with minimal disruption to operations.
Our close working relationship with TfL and other authorities allows us to proactively improve road safety for road users, passengers and drivers, and drive safety standards.
From July 2019 a new regulation has come into force making it compulsory for all new types of electric and hybrid vehicles in the European Union to be equipped with an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS).
